Asphalt 8: Airborne is the quintessential arcade racing experience from Gameloft. And it has everything speed fiends need.
Cars and customization
Let’s start with the garage. There’s not 1, not 2, not 3, but over 160 (count them) super-powered cars to add to your collection in this high-octane driving game.
You can tinker with all your rides. Soup up the acceleration, top-speed, handling, and nitro until they are tuned to perfection. Plus, you can add even more personal flare by customizing the paint job and decals.
Tracks and race types
You must take your car to the limit to speed around more than 40 circuits in 15 locations ranging from the mountains of Patagonia to the deserts of Dubai.
Every single track is intense and filled with obstacles, multiple routes, and massive jumps. You can catch huge air on these extreme leaps allowing you to pull off barrel rolls, corkscrews, and flat spins . All of which charges your nitro tank.
Game modes
And you will need every ounce of juice you have as you take on Asphalt 8: Airborne’s nine different events. These start with Classic races against a pack of other cars to more novel challenges.
Other events include the vicious game of hot potato that is Infected, a high-speed demolition derby in Knockdown, plus Gate Drift, Versus, Elimination, Infected, Tag Racing and even Flawless and Unplugged from the Mastery Challenges.
If that isn’t enough there are also limited time special events and Multiplayer options to keep things as fresh as a pine scented car-deodorizer. All of which makes Asphalt 8: Airborne the high-performance racing game that all driving fans should own.
