Children are the future of our nation, and nurturing their kindness is crucial. That's why Gameloft initiated a Charity Donation activity to celebrate International Children's Day. The Importance of Nurturing Kindness in Children
Recognizing that children hold the key to our nation's future, it is essential to cultivate their compassionate nature. With this goal in mind, Gameloft established the Charity Donation activity to bring happiness and support to those in need.
Donation Drive - Spreading Joy
Within a week, we called for donations from our Gamelofters, encouraging them to contribute items that would bring joy and entertainment to children. The suggested items included comics/books, snacks/confectionery, toys, stationery, and more. We were overwhelmed by the incredible response from our Gamelofters, who generously contributed these wonderful gifts.
A Visit to SOS Children's Village in Go Vap
Our chosen location to distribute the donations was the SOS Children's Village in Go Vap, where approximately 600 underprivileged children find care and support. Among them, 133 children live in family houses within the village, while 225 have grown up and integrated into society, with 143 having started their own families and leading stable lives.
At SOS Children's Village, our Gamelofters, who also served as dedicated volunteers, collaborated with the Village staff to organize the distribution of the donated gifts. The children's faces lit up with joy and excitement as they received the heartfelt presents from our Gamelofters. It was a heartwarming and fulfilling experience for all involved.
In addition to the main donation event, our volunteers directly visited the family houses within the village, delivering gifts to infants, who couldn't attend the event earlier. This provided an opportunity for them to witness firsthand the nurturing environment and understand the daily lives of the children residing in the village. This experience allowed us to connect with the children on a deeper level and further appreciate their living conditions.
