Have you ever wondered what it’s like working in the gaming industry? Or how diversity has evolved in video games? Then join us on May 25 at 5 PM CEST for a live session with Emperatriz Ung, Narrative Designer at Gameloft New York City, and Aude Mazereau, Game Designer at Gameloft Paris on Discord!
Emperatriz Ung is a Chinese-Colombian narrative designer at Gameloft NYC. She earned her MFA in game design from the NYU Game Center at the Tisch School of the Arts. She holds her BA in English from the University of New Mexico and her MA in English Literature from Georgetown University. Emperatriz looks to amplify underrepresented voices in the game development industry. She has spoken at the Games for Change Festival, Game Devs of Color Expo, PAX Unplugged, PAX East, GaymerX East, and PixelPop Festival.
Aude Mazereau is a game designer at Gameloft Paris and has been working in the industry for 10 years. She graduated from École Estienne and Université Paris 13 in Paris and has worked on multiple games, such as Riddle Stones, Auto Defense, and Cloud Chopper.
Hosted by Rachel Annen, Game Community Manager at Gameloft Montréal, and Angela Jang, Brand Content Editor at Gameloft Paris, our Gamelofters will talk about representation in games, the community challenge, and their experiences in the industry.
We’ll also be collecting your questions for Emperatriz and Aude on Discord and LinkedIn! Comment on our respective posts with your questions, and they might be answered during the live session!
