Privacy Policy in Relation to the Recruitment Processes at GAMELOFT SE and its Subsidiary Companies
Your privacy is important to Gameloft. Through our Policy, we want to explain to you how we collect, use, disclose,
transfer, and store your Personal Information.

Gameloft SE and its subsidiary companies collect, store, and use your Personal Information as data controllers for recruitment processes.
All personal information shall be processed in accordance with applicable data protection regulations.
This Privacy Policy is effective as of September 1, 2022.
Gameloft reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy.
What kind of personal information do we collect?
The term “Personal Information” means information that specifically, directly or indirectly, identifies you personally, in particular by reference to an identifier such as your name, physical address, email address, telephone, etc., and any other information that is required by applicable laws to be treated as Personal Information.
Gameloft will only collect adequate, relevant and limited Personal Information called “Applicant Personal Information” in relation to the purposes for which it is processed.
We use the information contained in your application form to process your application. We can collect any additional Applicant Personal Information that you decide to share with us during the recruitment process, for example, information from your personal website and your LinkedIn profile, name and surname, email address, phone number, information related to your education, etc.
The information is processed with your consent and/or in Gameloft's legitimate interest for recruitment purposes and for contractual and administrative steps.
We will not collect or use any other information you provide us for any other purposes unless there is a legal requirement for Gameloft to process your personal information.
Why do we collect your Applicant Personal Information?
Your Applicant Personal Information is collected as part of the recruitment process and will be kept to facilitate the management of the recruitment process and of any subsequent legal challenge to that process.
How long do we keep your Personal Information?
Your Applicant Personal Information will be retained by Gameloft following the completion of the recruitment process and then stored for 2 years on the candidate reserve list. In fact, if your profile does not exactly match our current job offers, we may suggest another position for you in the future. If you want to delete your data, please refer to the “Your Privacy Rights” section.
In the case that you become a Gameloft employee, your Applicant Personal Information will be stored longer, in accordance with local regulatory requirements and Gameloft's Employee Policy.
Which technical means do we use to process your Personal Information?
Applicant Personal Information is stored on internal Gameloft servers. We also use SmartRecruiters or other service providers, depending on the country where you apply. Any remote access during the recruitment process is facilitated via the secure HTTPS Internet protocols. Access to Applicant Personal Information is restricted to Human Resources and the internal manager providing support for the recruitment process.
Who has access to your Applicant Personal Information and to whom is it disclosed?
The following categories of persons have access to your information:
- Gameloft managers who are offering the job
- The Gameloft Human Resources team and staff providing support for the recruitment process locally at Gameloft entities or at the headquarters based at 14 rue Auber 75009 Paris, France
- Gameloft providers and their subcontractors (such as companies providing archiving services, cloud storage providers, etc.)
- Gameloft IT services providing support to Human Resources services locally and at the headquarters in Paris, France
- The Gameloft IT Security team, if necessary
- The Gameloft Audit team
- The Vivendi Audit team, since Gameloft is part of the Vivendi Group
- Public authorities, such as regulatory authorities, employment authorities, or tax authorities, to comply with legal requirements
Is some of your Applicant Personal Information transferred outside of the European Union?
Your Applicant Personal Information will be processed at the Gameloft entity you apply to, but is transferred outside your country to other entities where Gameloft HR teams are based and to the Gameloft entity in Canada for storage purposes.
Moreover, your personal information can be processed outside your country by external providers for Gameloft entities.
These countries may have different levels of protection for your personal information than the protection available in your country. Gameloft Human Resources ensures that all personal information handled within Gameloft or by providers is processed, transferred and stored in accordance with applicable data protection regulations and that adequate safeguards and procedures providing protection to Applicant Personal Information are in place.
When you submit your application, you agree to this Policy and, in particular, you expressly agree to the transfer of your Applicant Personal Information for the purposes described in this Policy.
To this end, we sign Personal Information Agreements with our providers and specific transfer clauses between Gameloft entities.
Which security measures are in place against misuse or unauthorized access?
The information system is protected against unauthorized use. Only identified and authorized recipients have access to Applicant Personal Information, protected by a login and a password, over a secure Internet or intranet connection. Employees within Gameloft are given access rights corresponding to the requirements of their job and only to the Applicant Personal Information relevant to their purposes.
How long do we keep your information?
If you are not selected, we keep your personal information for 2 years starting from the date of your application (or from the date we add you to SmartRecruiters, our recruitment tool, if you apply by email) to facilitate any future applications.
Your Privacy Rights
Our job offers are processed through SmartRecruiters. To apply for a Gameloft Job, you must create a SmartRecruiters account.
- Please use your account to exercise your privacy rights (access, modify, erase your personal information; limit processing; or object to processing). You can exercise your privacy rights at any time.
- If you need more information or help, you can use SmartRecruiters to contact our HR teams.
If you request limitations to the processing of your Applicant Personal Information or object to such processing, we may not be able to treat your job application (because it is mandatory that Human Resources process your personal information for recruitment purposes at Gameloft).
Gameloft HR teams will receive your request and will answer you within one month unless your request requires further investigation. You’ll be specifically informed if that is the case.
We remind you that you have a right to file a complaint with your data protection supervisory authority.
Changes
We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time. Therefore, please review this Privacy Policy from time to time so that you are aware when any changes are made.
